Steampunk Love

Ofelia Perl is a character I created for no particular reason whatsoever. I enjoy imagining worlds and materializing the things and people from these imaginary worlds every now and again.

Ofelia, commonly referred to as "O", is a general repair-woman. She has the capacity to fix, take apart, or otherwise alter the purpose of almost any mechanical object. She is something of a mathematical genius, however her constant preoccupation with numbers makes her socially awkward. She finds comfort in counting or reciting strange and useless facts to people around her.

Miss Sassy-frass

First post! She's sassy. This started out as a sketchbook doodle then I decided I liked it enough to have some fun with it. It's just a quick 30 min illo done in Photoshop.

Dead Animal Puppet Show

I SHOULD be working on drawing the human figure more, but I always default to birds and fish. Humans, fish and birds are kind of the same, anyway, if you mix and match the parts... so I'd say this was a good day of figure drawing practice. :P

Yakuza crayon girl

One week our model at Tojo Gallery had a ridiculous yakuza-style tattoo of koi fish, a wave and pot leaves... Naturally I had to capitalize on this. 18x24 crayon, October 2008.

The Green Scarf

By "The Raw Space" you mean "pictures of naked girlies that we drew", right?
